I wanted to try this candle as, when I moved home, I had to leave my gorgeous cherry tree behind, which I had planted and had rewarded me with beautiful blossom every year. This candle smells of sweet cherry confectionery and it is very pretty, but also very similar to other cherry scented candles in the Yankee Candle range. It has an evocative name and, although the scent doesn’t quite match expectation, it is still very pleasing. Yankee Candles provide good value in their mid market position, with attractive lidded jars and pleasant fragrances, although I would urge doing some in-store sniffing before purchase where possible to check the smell is to your taste. For best burning experience, keep the wick trimmed to no more than 3mm and use a candle snuffed to extinguish as that helps prevent the wax going everywhere. This is an attractively scented candle, sized for bath tub corners and secret Santa/stockings as well as the bedroom, lounge or dinner table. The lid helps keep the dust off between burnings although this one smells so nice it is unlikely to get a chance to accumulate dust in this house.

Appena ho acceso la Yankee Candle ho capito perché tutti ne parlano così bene. La fragranza si è diffusa in pochi minuti in tutta la stanza, creando un’atmosfera rilassante e avvolgente. Io ho scelto la profumazione Clean Cotton (ma vale lo stesso per le altre, sono tutte irresistibili!), e davvero sembra di avere la biancheria appena stesa sotto il sole primaverile. La cera si scioglie lentamente e in modo uniforme, la fiamma è stabile e non produce fumo. Dopo varie ore di utilizzo, posso dire che dura davvero a lungo e il profumo resta nell’ambiente anche dopo aver spento la candela. Il design in vetro è elegante, si adatta a qualsiasi tipo di arredamento ed è anche un bellissimo regalo. Io ne ho già prese altre per il salotto e la camera da letto. Yankee Candle non è solo una candela, ma un’esperienza sensoriale che ti fa sentire subito a casa.
