Bought this as a birthday gift for my friend and omg it was perfect! Looked stunning and smelled even better - I knew she would love it. Nicely packaged toiletries sets like this are always welcome as gifts, and as a personal indulgence they are lovely. This one has some very enjoyable products, although overall I did think the set was a little pricey compared with the total cost of similar products bought individually. However, the products all come fro different artisan companies around the UK, which is a nice idea. The soap from Luxe England is very good - a good size, looks beautiful with its marbled finish, smells great and lathers up very well. Ditto the Peach Bellini bath salts from the Glasgow Soap Company, which smell gorgeously fruity and (like all salt based bath additives) are wonderfully relaxing in a hot bath after a hard day. The floral bath bomb from Welsh company You're Gorgeous is fizzy and fun and works very well as a scented bath water softener. I'm never sure of the purpose of shower steamers - the cynic in me says they;re an attempt by manufacturers to adapt a bath bomb for time-pressed people who prefer a shower to a bath. They're smaller, and the idea is to place them in the shower tray and enjoy the fragrance as the hot water and steam gradually dissolves them. However, it does seem a bit of a waste as they literally just end up going down the drain, and quite quickly at that. These - from Bubble and Bathe in Devon - smell great, but having tried one in the shower I'm tempted to drop the others into my bathwater! The final ingredients are a lovely soy wax scented candle from the Wharfedale Candle Company in Yorkshire, which comes in a tin with a lid - the scent is Apricot Rose - and an old-fashioned lavender sachet to scent your underwear drawer from 1 More Tree in the Isle of Wight. The whole set comes in recyclable packaging and the products are vegan-friendly and not tested on animals.

I bought two of these for gifts to send overseas, but have needed to break the seal to find out why they are leaking dust all over the place - albeit nice smelling dust - and the shower steamers are disintegrating. Not sure now that I can send them as they are, which is disappointing.
