Where to start with this hamper! From the outset you call tell it was going to be a quality product, from the picnic style hamper with straps and buckles to the way it was packed with straw and the aesthetics of the products. The significant majority of the products are branded as the 'British Hamper company' and whilst I am not a vegan the products weren't that aimed at vegans (I don't think I'd notice that the contents were vegan friendly if it hadn't stated it. It has taken me a few weeks to review this hamper because it contained a lot of items, and I still haven’t eaten them all! However, I believe I’ve tried enough to give an informed opinion. First of all, the hamper itself looks great and arrived very well packaged. You will want to keep this chest-style hamper to store things once the food has been consumed. Most items bear The British Hamper Company branding on the packaging, but you’ll notice that they were sourced from various local companies in the UK. The goods I’ve tried so far include gluten-free cookies, olives, dark chocolate mint creams, chocolate honeycombs, corn crunch, and sea salt crisps. The olives were my absolute favourite product. Everything else was also very good, although not products that I would normally buy. The drinking chocolate, jams, and marmalades will be enjoyed over Christmas. There is no doubt that this hamper would make a fantastic gift for someone; the price is justified by the care taken with the presentation and the fact that the hamper itself is a quality item which most people will want to keep. The British Hamper Company is a legitimate company (i.e., not a made-up Amazon storefront); I am absolutely impressed with the hamper I received and would not hesitate to buy from them for future gifts and celebrations.

This is a fantastic hamper. The wicker basket itself is very good quality and closes securely with two small leather straps. It's also absolutely full to the brim! We have thoroughly enjoyed every item. I cannot recommend highly enough. The mint creams are especially wonderful! This is the best hamper I've ever come across and it would make a wonderful gift for anyone. The wicker basket itself can be used for picnics etc for years to come.

For a hamper like this, I would expect to pay at least double the price for the value of the goods inside. Genuinely amazing and all complements each other; it's pretty clear that some thought has went into this and would DEFINITELY make for a great gift for someone (or an office even!). My favourite in this set was the mint thins - absolutely delicious - the jam (Raspberry) had a nice little bite to the taste also! There's an amazing range of items in here from cookies to crips and hot chocolate, there will be something for everyone in here. For the quality that you're given in here, and the actual quality of the hamper (the basket), this is a great deal. Even better that the company is British and (after a little bit of research!) found that they are based in Lincoln!
